INFRASTRUCTURE ALERT — Nairobi Water & Sewerage Company
A major water main burst has been reported on James Gichuru Road, directly in front of the Total petrol station (opposite Nakumatt Lavington ruins).
🚧 SITUATION AS OF 21 MARCH 2026:
• Approximately 30 metres of road is flooded
• One lane partially blocked — slow-moving traffic reported
• Water flow is continuous — possible infrastructure failure underground
• Potholes forming rapidly in the flooded section
[!]️ DRIVER ADVISORY: Avoid this stretch between 7 AM and 9 AM. Use Denis Pritt Road or Kibagare Way as alternative routes.

I drove through this at 8 AM — the pothole near the Total is now huge. Drive carefully everyone.
